About the Person
Tracy Parham, RN, has accepted the permanent position of Chief Information Officer (CIO) for UNC Health Care. Tracy has served as interim CIO since November 2012 and her move to the permanent CIO position. Tracy has worked at UNC Health Care for more than 30 years, and began her career as a nurse in the N.C. Jaycee Burn Center at UNC Hospitals before transitioning to a career in information technology (IT). Her expertise in both patient care and IT makes her especially well-suited for this position.
