About the Person
Tom Stachowiak is responsible for developing, implementing and managing the information technology needs of the company. Prior to his current position, he served as Vice President, Engineering. Mr. Stachowiak is a 13+ year veteran of the telecommunications and information technology industries. Prior to joining Birch in 2005, he spent several years at Verso Technologies building and operating VoIP softswitches and application servers. He also worked for 4 years at Syracuse University conducting research on applying IP technologies to military command and control systems and distance learning. Mr. Stachowiak holds both a Masters of Science degree in Computer Science and a Masters in Business Administration degree from Syracuse University.
