About the Person

As Chief Information Officer, Tom Miglis heads the technology that is fundamental to the success of the Citadel platform. He leads a team of approximately 500 technology professionals to develop new trading and technology applications that accelerate innovation on behalf of Citadel's business and clients. Mr. Miglis is also a member of Citadel's Portfolio Committee. Mr. Miglis has more than 20 years of experience in senior positions within the financial services industry. He was an Executive Managing Director and Partner and the head of Global Systems for Bankers Trust Company. He served as CIO at Salomon Brothers, leading their widely recognized global technology organization. He also started two successful software firms prior to joining Citadel in 2001. Mr. Miglis has been recognized by Wall Street & Technology magazine as one of the Top CIOs on Wall Street and one of The CIO Elite for his role in making Citadel a technology leader in the industry. Mr. Miglis graduated with a bachelor's degree from Baruch College.
