It operates in three segments: Paint Stores, Consumer, and Global. The Paint Stores segment sells paint, coatings, and related products to end-use customers. This segment markets and sells Sherwin-Williams branded architectural paints and coatings, industrial and marine products, and original equipment manufacturer product finishes and related items.

 

About the Person

Lucas has been the top tech guy at Sherwin-Williams, the Fortune 500 buildings material company known for its branded paint, since 2000, initially as Vice President, IT and, since September 2008, as Chief Information Officer. Lucas is in charge of developing, implementing and updating IT strategy and making sure it is in line with the strategies, goals and objectives of the overall Sherwin-Williams enterprise. Prior to joining the Cleveland, Ohio-based company, Lucas was Director of Corporate IT at Morris Material Handling, a supplier of overhead cranes and maintenance services. Before joining Morris in 1997, he had spent 15 years as Director of Corporate IT at Marquip Inc., a pioneer in the design and manufacture of high-speed corrugating and sheeting equipment for the corrugated board and folded carton industries.
