About the Person
Before joining Associa, Larkin retired from an information technology consulting firm he founded with two close colleagues. Prior to founding his own firm, he had worked in the information technology field for a variety of companies and organizations, including some of the largest and most complex in the world. Most of his focus has been on very large scale transaction processing and data base systems. Since 1982, Larkin has worked in the information technology field with a variety of companies and organizations, including some of the largest and most complex in the world. Most of his focus has been on very large scale transaction processing and database systems Larkin earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rice University. He and his wife, Ann, of 29 years, live in Dallas with their two daughters, Jennifer, a high school history teacher in Killeen and Emilee, a veterinary student at Texas A&M. Larkin says he loves to travel, especially with his wife and daughters. He says since discovering desktop publishing & digital photography, creating photo books about his travels has become one of life's great pleasures.
