New York, NY-based Healthix has Appointed Todd M. Rogow as Chief Information Officer
About the Company
Healthix is a RHIO, or regional health information organization, devoted to developing, deploying and operating innovative uses of interoperable health information technology and analytics to facilitate patient-centric care and promote improved health care quality, affordability and outcomes for New Yorkers. Healthix was formed through mergers between NYCLIX, LIPIX and most recently BHIX, RHIOs representing the Manhattan, Long Island, and Brooklyn regions respectively. The newly merged Healthix brings to bear a great deal of expertise in delivering health information exchange services, access to clinical data and the tools to support care coordination for over 9 million patients and over 100 participant organizations serving over 400 locations in New York City and Nassau and Suffolk Counties. Among the key objectives for the newly merged Healthix will be expanding health information exchange (HIE) among its participants while shaping a robust relationship with the New York eHealth Collaborative (NYeC) for development of the State Health Information Network for New York (SHIN-NY) Nationally recognized as a leader in advancing health information exchange, Healthix fosters improvements in community clinical connectivity. Healthix has developed a portfolio of products and services that provide cost-effective access to a broad range of clinical information and related functionality to enhance patient care and support emerging models of care coordination.
About the Person
Todd M. Rogow, MPA, CSM, PMP has joined Healthix, Inc. as the new Chief Information Officer and Senior Vice President, where he will be responsible for providing the vision, strategy and day-to-day operational leadership for all technical aspects of Healthix. Mr. Rogow brings a wealth of knowledge and industry experience, with particular expertise in operating a statewide health information exchange. Rogow has joined Healthix during a period of rapid growth and innovative change. He has the critical role of building and leading Healthix`s information technology function as Healthix brings its technology development and operations in-house. Mr. Rogow will be responsible for implementing the next generation of application software and the conversion of all Healthix participants to the new platform. Previous to joining Healthix, Mr. Rogow served as the Chief Technology Officer at HealthInfoNet, a leading HIE serving the state of Maine. With 20 years of experience in technology, Mr. Rogow is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and a 2012 graduate of the Hanley Center`s Health Leadership program in Maine. He also currently serves on the Board of Directors for New England HIMSS as the HIE Liaison.
