Los Angeles, CA-based RealtyMogul.com Appointed Timothy Li as Chief Information Officer
RealtyMogul.com is an online capital marketplace for real estate, connecting borrowers and sponsors to capital from accredited and institutional investors. Through an online platform, RealtyMogul.com gives borrowers access to debt capital, sponsors access to equity capital and investors tools to browse investments, do due diligence and invest online. RealtyMogul.com offers fix-and-flip loans, bridge and permanent loans and joint venture equity.
Timothy Li will be responsible for combining information, technology and predictive analytics to enable RealtyMogul.com to connect capital partners with real estate professionals through the company’s technology platform. Prior to joining RealtyMogul.com, Li served in senior management positions within marketplace lending and FinTech including: EVP and General Manager of Consumer Lending for loanDepot; Chief Risk Officer at Quick Bridge Funding; SVP, Chief Analytics Officer at Think Finance; and VP, Risk Director at JPMorgan Chase. Additionally, his experience includes roles as a Mathematical Engineer at Intel Corporation and counseling companies like Hello Soda, Domuso, Blinker App, Kabbage, Inc. and Mosaic as either a board member, committee member or in an advisory role. Li earned his B.S. degree in engineering and mathematics from San Jose State University and his M.S. degree in mathematical optimization from the University of Southern California. He attended Harvard Business School’s program for leadership development. He holds a patent for Systems and methods for distribution of cash.
