Athens, GA-based The University of Georgia has appointed Timothy M. Chester as chief information officer.

About the Person

Chester began working as UGA's chief information officer in September 2011 after serving as Pepperdine University's vice provost for academic administration and chief information officer. He is responsible for all information technology-related matters at UGA as a part of the Enterprise Information Technology Services, or EITS, office.
