About the Company

Inspira Health Network is a charitable nonprofit health care organization serving communities across southern New Jersey. The network, which traces its roots to 1899, comprises three hospitals, a comprehensive cancer center, several multi-specialty health centers and a total of more than 100 locations. These include urgent care; outpatient imaging and rehabilitation; numerous specialty centers, including sleep medicine, cardiac testing, digestive health and wound care; hospice and home care; and more than 30 primary and specialty physician practices in Gloucester, Cumberland, Salem and Camden counties. Together with our medical staff of more than 1,100 physicians and other health care providers, we provide evidence-based care to help each patient achieve the best possible outcome. Our clinical and support staffs are focused on providing safe care in a safe environment for every patient. And we understand that to provide excellent care to our patients, we must also be sensitive to the needs of their families. About the Person
Thomas Pacek brings more than 30 years of experience in the healthcare industry to Inspira Health Network. He is responsible for their community health information exchange, SJH eHealth Connection, which electronically connects their hospitals with medical practices, extended care and home care facilities in their community for care coordination. Tom has work with several other hospitals in Southern New Jersey to form a public Health Information Exchange (NJSHINE) utilizing the SJH ASP infrastructure. He is current President of NJSHINE. As VP and CIO at Inspira Health Network, Tom leads the Information Systems, HIM and Communication departments in other strategic clinical and financial related imperatives. Prior to joining Inspira Health Network, Tom was VP of Information Services and Communications for Virtua Health in Gibbsboro, NJ. Tom is very active in the Delaware Valley Healthcare Community and Nationally. He is a frequent speaker on cloud computing, ambulatory EMRs and health information exchanges. Tom holds BS degrees in Administrative Systems Management and Accounting from Drexel University and an MBA from Ellis University. Tom is also a Certified Healthcare Information Management Professional. He is a member of the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME), a past president of the Delaware Valley Chapter of HIMSS.
