As HR Director, you will lead the design, implementation and maintenance of an integrated HR system and provide strategic planning leadership with regard to our people strategy. We are looking for someone exceptionally talented and driven to effectively initiate and sustain critical business change into the organization.
This is a full-time position. The HR Director will be working in our beautiful offices headquartered in Beverly Hills, CA and must currently reside in the Greater Los Angeles area.
Do the following activities make you feel STRONG?
• Optimizing human capital through uses of workforce planning and analytics
• Developing and utilizing metrics to evaluate the impact of HR processes and provide information to management for critical business decisions
• Leading the payroll function
• Developing and managing HR programs including employee engagement planning, talent review process, performance management, and succession planning
• Directing salary administration and compensation practices
• Ensuring the timely enrollment of eligible employees in benefit programs, providing benefit counseling and assisting employees with questions or problem resolution
• Directing full scale pre-boarding process for all new hires
• Overseeing and making recommendations regarding company`s benefit programs including medical, dental, vision, life, FSA, HSA, long term disability, 401k match, etc.
• Managing promotion, transfer and termination of employees
• Improving organizational development and effectiveness through better definition of roles, responsibilities and accountabilities, and metrics to help drive employee behavior and effectively execute daily business operations
• Developing and consistently reviewing and monitoring company HR communications and policies and procedures and ensuring understanding and adherence by employees
• Leading compliance efforts for all federal, state and industry regulations within our industry.
Qualifications

• A self-starter with the ability to balance conflicting points of view, function effectively under pressure and demonstrate discretion, integrity and fair-mindedness.
• Strong experience handling sensitive HR legal issues related to California and US labor laws
• Ability to anticipate business needs, think proactively and respond appropriately
• Experience managing multiple projects concurrently, demonstrating a sense of urgency and results oriented
• Ability to learn new systems quickly and create improved efficiency
• Confident leader with keen business sense as well as excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
• Enjoys the fast pace of a startup
Education and Experience
• 8-10 years of progressive human resources experience
• HCM industry experience a plus
• HR certifications a plus
• MBA or Master`s Degree is desirable
• Phenomenal communicator with exceptional writing and verbal skills
