Independent Colleges of Indiana is the collective voice for excellence and choice in higher education for all students. What we do: -Public Policy Advocacy, especially in the cause of state and federally-funded student financial aid -Public Information and Research about the performance and contributions of the independent college sector in Indiana -Corporate and Foundation Fundraising, with all funds raised by ICI disbursed to member colleges -Development of Collaborative Services, such as group purchasing and shared services among our campuses -Administration of the Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship Program, along with other scholarships and grants We are an association of 30 private colleges and universities in Indiana. Now in its second century, Yeshiva University is the oldest and most comprehensive educational institution under Jewish auspices in America. It is an independent university that ranks among the nation`s leading academic research institutions and, reflecting the time-honored tradition of Torah Umadda, provides the highest quality Jewish and secular education of any Jewish university in the world. Since its inception the University has been dedicated to melding the ancient traditions of Jewish law and life with the heritage of Western civilization, and each year we celebrate as future leaders make YU their home. In September 2003, Richard M. Joel was inaugurated as Yeshiva University`s fourth president in its 117-year history, succeeding Norman Lamm, who had held the office since 1976. President Joel`s two other predecessors were Bernard Revel, president from 1915 to 1940, and Samuel Belkin, who served from 1943 to 1975.
Northern Arizona University is one of three state universities in Arizona with its main campus located in Flagstaff and dozens of statewide campuses as well as online learning options. The university is primarily a four-year, high-research, residential campus offering bachelor`s, master`s, and doctoral degrees, with additional degrees offered across the state and online. Our NCAA Division I athletics teams compete primarily in the Big Sky Conference and have produced a remarkable array of successful student-athletes.
