About the Person
Terry McCabe is Chief Technology Officer at Mavenir Systems. He was also Chief Technology Officer at Airwide, which was acquired by Mavenir. Prior to Airwide, Terry McCabe held senior positions at Sema Group, including Vice President of Engineering and CTO. In these roles McCabe oversaw Software Architecture, Research & Development, and Product Management in Europe and North America. These roles focused on messaging, prepaid, and value-added service applications, primarily based on wireless mobile network technologies. Terry led the company's participation in a number of standards organizations including the WAP Forum, the SMS Forum and TIA. Previously, Terry spent eight years with Digital Equipment working in Realtime Solutions, Telecommunications, and Software usability. During his tenure, he worked on a number of Open Systems interoperability initiatives established by the European Workshop on Open Systems (EWOS). Terry graduated with a degree in Computer Science from Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland.
