The Oregon Legislative Assembly is the state legislature for the U.S. state of Oregon. The Legislative Assembly is bicameral, consisting of an upper and lower house: the Senate, whose 30 members are elected to serve four-year terms; and the House of Representatives, with 60 members elected to two-year terms.
The Nebraska Intergovernmental Risk Management Association (NIRMA) is a not-for-profit, member-owned and operated risk management and self-insurance pool designed by and expressly for Nebraska counties. Created in 1988 under the Intergovernmental Risk Management Act (Neb. Rev. Stat. 44-4301 to 44-4339) and the Interlocal Cooperation Act (Neb. Rev. Stat. 13-801), NIRMA is subject to all applicable rules and regulations of the Nebraska Department of Insurance. Under the NIRMA flagship there are actually two pools – NIRMA, which provides property and general liability coverages, and NIRMA II, which offers workers` compensation coverage. NIRMA began with 32 counties as charter members. Today, NIRMA serves 95 members.
The Financial Information System for California (FI$Cal Project) is a business transformation project for state government in the areas of budgeting, accounting, procurement, and cash management. The project will prepare the state systems and workforce to function in an integrated financial management system environment. To ensure the success of the project, the Partner Agencies have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed by the State Controller, the State Treasurer, and the Directors of the Departments of Finance and General Services. The MOU demonstrates support for the project at the highest levels of these organizations and provides the framework for this project. FI$Cal is an historic partnership of the Department of Finance (DOF), the State Controller`s Office (SCO), the State Treasurer`s Office (STO) and the Department of General Services (DGS).
