The Oregon Lottery is both a public trust and a market-driven business. Oregon voters established their lottery in 1984 with a constitutional amendment, and have since defined most of the ways in which lottery profits are distributed. When we say We Do Good Things we are referring to the $9 billion of Lottery profits that have been transferred to the State of Oregon to fund critical programs such as education, economic development, state parks, watershed enhancement, Veteran services, and outdoor school. The Lottery also funds 100 percent of gambling addiction treatment statewide. Our business brings Oregonians the best in lottery products, like Oregons Game Megabucks, Powerball, MegaMillions, Scratch-its and Video Lottery games. Our mission is to earn maximum profits for the people Oregon commensurate with the public good. The Oregon Lottery is recognized as an industry leader and as such, offers a broad range of opportunities where you can demonstrate your talent, enthusiasm, ambition and ingenuity to help us continue to do good things for Oregon.
