Steve Turoff, a former Senior Software Engineer and Product Manager, as Chief Technology Officer. Mr. Turoff started his career as an engineer at Intel and has since worked with companies including Sony, Tenet Healthcare, National Geographic, United News and Media, and Fujitsu. He also was a consultant to the BBC in London where he worked with its President and team of directors to help develop their 60-person Internet Team and provided the skills to build their first websites in the 1990s. He has an extensive background in management and was an executive manager for one of the first Internet development companies, methodfive. Mr. Turoff has an array of expertise in hands-on development of Internet applications and various Software Development Models. He graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering in 1988 and then attended graduate school at the Pratt Institute, focusing on interface design. Mr. Turoff’s work at mumms® has included the design, development, and management of numerous software packages including Care Plans and Charting (the clinical hospice software application), the At Risk Registry, and the mumms® Human Resources Module. In addition, he has been instrumental in forming an engineering team backed by a scalable, systematic process for building software.
