About the Company

The South Carolina Department of Commerce is the states primary economic development agency, established in 1993. Its mission is to create a favorable environment for economic growth, enhance wealth generation, and ensure that economic benefits reach all regions of South Carolina. Headquartered in Columbia, the Department also has international offices in Munich and Shanghai to facilitate global business interactions.
