JenaValve Technology, Inc., based in Irvine, California and Munich, Germany develops, manufactures and markets transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) systems to treat patients suffering from aortic valve disease. The Company’s transapical TAVI system is CE marked and currently marketed in Europe and other markets worldwide and its new transfemoral TAVI system is currently undergoing clinical evaluation in Europe with a view toward achieving CE Mark in 2015. About the Person

Stefan G. Schreck, Ph.D. has been Chief Technology Officer of JenaValve Technology, Inc. since August 12, 2014. Dr. Schreck served as Vice President of Technology at Endologix Inc. since February 2004 and also served as its Vice President of Research, Development and Operations since February 2004. Dr. Schreck served as Chief Technology Officer of Endologix Inc. since April 8, 2013. Dr. Schreck has more than 20 years of experience in research and development of medical products. Prior to joining Endologix, he held increasingly more responsible R&D management positions in the medical device industry. From May 1995 to April 2000, he served as Director of Research in Baxter Healthcares Heart Valve Division. From April 2000 to August 2002, Dr. Schreck served as Senior Director R&D at Edwards Lifesciences and was responsible for the development of all surgical heart valve repair and replacement products. From August 2002 to February 2004, he served as President & Chief Executive Officer of MediMorph Solutions Inc., an engineering and management consulting firm for the medical device industry that he founded. Prior to joining the medical device industry, he conducted biomedical research at the Georgia Institute of Technology and the University of Southern California. Dr. Schreck holds a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering and a M.S. in aerospace engineering. Prior to joining the medical device industry, he conducted biomedical research at the Georgia Institute of Technology and the University of Southern California.
