Wesleyan University`s Center for the Arts exists to catalyze people`s creativity by engaging them in the dynamic work of diverse artists, according to its mission. It opened in the fall of 1973.
The mission of the C. T. Bauer College of Business at the University of Houston is three-fold: -To create and advance knowledge that will shape and address new business realities; -To provide a challenging learning environment through a rich variety of pedagogical approaches, and -To prepare our students for effective and responsible business leadership worldwide.
The University of Montana Western is the only public four-year higher education institution in the country offering a very innovative approach to learning called Experience One, or X1 for short. With X1 students take a single class at a time, three hours each day for about three weeks, then move on to the next. They focus. They concentrate. They learn to work with and depend on their fellow students and professor. The benefits are many. Foremost among them, X1 encourages real-world, hands-on learning. Students learn while actually doing and fully participate in their education. The bottom line is that UMW graduates have a leg up when entering the job market or continuing their education in graduate school. Small (our student faculty ratio is 16:1) yet academically mighty, Montana Western courses are taught by distinguished faculty (not teaching assistants) who are genuinely interested in their students` success now and in the future.

Our core purpose is to help organizations improve their software engineering capabilities and to develop or acquire the right software, defect free, within budget and on time, every time. To accomplish this, the SEI - performs research to explore promising solutions to software engineering problems - identifies and codifies technological and methodological solutions - tests and refines the solutions through pilot programs that help industry and government solve their problems- widely disseminates proven solutions through training, licensing, and publication of best practices
