One of the 58 institutions of the North Carolina Community College System, VGCC is the local source for higher education and training in Vance, Granville, Franklin and Warren counties. With a service area the size of Rhode Island, VGCC operates four attractive campuses, one in each county: Main Campus in Vance County, South Campus in Granville County (between Creedmoor and Butner), the Franklin County Campus (just west of Louisburg) and the Warren County Campus (Warrenton). VGCC offers more than 40 curriculum programs , in which students work toward certificates, diplomas and degrees. Misericordia University is a four-year, Catholic, co-educational liberal arts university located on a 100-acre (0.40 km2) campus in Dallas, Pennsylvania, near the cities of Wilkes-Barre and Scranton. It was founded by the Religious Sisters of Mercy on August 15, 1924. The university offers bachelor`s, master`s and doctoral degrees as well as post-master`s and post-bachelor`s certificates.
Williams Baptist College is a four-year, Christian, liberal arts college. Williams is known for its academic excellence and personal attention, with a student-to-teacher ratio of 13-to-1, as well as its warm, Christ-centered environment.
