For more than 50 years, Anne Arundel Community College (AACC) has proudly served the diverse needs of Anne Arundel County by bringing educational excellence and innovation to our community and region. Students of all ages continually redefine themselves through credit and noncredit programs of study and personal enrichment courses. Established in 1961, AACC is a fully accredited, nationally recognized, public, two-year institution and the largest single-campus community college in Maryland, serving nearly 40,000 students annually in credit and noncredit courses. AACC offers credit programs leading to an associate degree or credit certificate that prepare students for transfer to a four-year institution or to move into an immediate career. In addition, the college offers noncredit continuing professional education courses, continuing education certificates and workforce credentials to those seeking career training or retraining, working to boost basic skills or pursuing new areas of interest. Fort Hays State University is a thriving liberal and applied arts, a state-assisted institution in western Kansas with an enrollment of approximately 14,210 students. It has four colleges — Arts and Sciences, Education and Technology, Business and Entrepreneurship, and Health and Life Sciences — and a Graduate School. It also has a Virtual College that delivers courses electronically throughout Kansas and beyond. FHSU offers bachelor`s and master`s degrees in many fields and provides a wide variety of cultural and intellectual resources, not only for its faculty, staff, and students but for the western Kansas region and beyond. The Medical College of Wisconsin, or simply MCW, is a private, freestanding medical school and graduate school of sciences located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It was formerly affiliated with Marquette University, but has operated as an independent institution since 1967.[1] MCW is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association (NCA) of Colleges and Schools and by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME). The NCA is the accrediting body for all institutions of higher education in the College's geographic region and the LCME is the accrediting body of all US medical schools. Along with the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, it is one of only two medical schools in Wisconsin, and it is the only private medical school in the state.
