The Winnipeg Regional Health Authority (WRHA) fulfills its purpose of Caring for Health by working to provide services that promote independence, wellness, treatment and care, and doing so with respect for the patients, residents, clients and communities it serves. More than 13,000 people are directly employed by the Region with over 27,000 engaged in health care services in the Winnipeg Health Region. With an annual operating budget of nearly $2.4 billion dollars, the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority operates or funds over 200 health service facilities and programs.
