About the Person
Sravana Kumar Karnati brings more than 20 years of agile software development expertise to his role as CTO of Egencia leading Worldwide Technology and Development at Egencia. Sravana's passion is to deliver innovative consumer-centric products through the power of technology by building and empowering high performance teams. Since joining the company in 2011, he is focused on scaling up Egencia's technology delivery capability and on accelerated delivery of new products and solutions. Previously, Sravana held senior technology roles at Oracle, Amazon and Disney Interactive Media. His experience spans a diverse set of domains (media, ecommerce, supply chain) and technologies (mobile, distributed, cloud and Big Data). Sravana earned a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Ohio State University, specializing in Artificial Intelligence applications. He holds a Master in Chemical Engineering, with specialization in Computer Aided Design, from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT-Chennai) and a Bachelor degree from Anna University in India.
