About the Person

Mr. Sunil Garg, also known as Sonny, has been Chief Information and Innovation Officer and Senior Vice President at Exelon Corp. since March 2012. Mr. Garg served as the Senior Vice President of Generation at Exelon Generation Company, LLC since 2010. Since joining Exelon in 2002, he has focused extensively on integration work, including process efficiencies and cost savings. He served as the President of Exelon Power at Exelon Corp., since August 16, 2010. Before leading Exelon's human resources function, he served as the Vice President of finance for Exelon's Business Services Company and co-led its financial transformation integration program. Prior to Exelon, Mr. Garg served as an Assistant to Chicago Mayor Richard M. Daley and was appointed a White House Fellow by President Bill Clinton. Previously, he was an Associate with the Chapin Hall Center for Children at the University of Chicago, a research and development center focused on education. He serves as a Director of Chapin Hall Center For Children. Mr. Garg holds a Bachelor's degree and an MBA from the University of Chicago and a master's degree in public policy from Harvard University.
