Founded on October 3, 1887, as the State Normal College for Colored Students, what is now Florida A&M was started with 15 students and two instructors. Shashi Persaud is Chief Technology Officer at Orange County Sheriff's Office. Previously, Shashi held various senior IT leadership roles in the industry.
