About the Person
For more than 20 years, Sharyne Miller has led complex information technology initiatives as a project manager, support specialist and director. She has held administrative posts at Hertz Corporation, American Home Products and Orange County Community College. In 2013, she was appointed Executive Director of Information Technology for Bergen Community College, the largest community college in New Jersey. While at Bergen, Miller was responsible for leading the design and implementation of a range of strategic technology initiatives resulting in a comprehensive technology refresh, smart/collaborative learning rooms and a state-of-the-art borderless network infrastructure across three campuses. Miller earned a Bachelor of Science in computer information systems from Dominican College, a Master of Science in telecommunications from Iona College and is currently a Doctor of Education candidate at Northeastern University. A former adjunct college professor, sheis a certified Project Management Professional, Red Hat Linux Certified Technician and a Certified Technical Trainer.
