Brentwood, TN-based ReDoc Software has Promoted Seth Hobgood as Chief Technology Officer
ReDoc Software (ReDoc) has been the leader in therapy documentation and management software for nearly two decades. With clinical, technical and management experience in the therapy industry, ReDoc understands the unique business and clinical needs of physical therapists, occupational therapists and speech-language pathologists in hospitals and private practices. ReDoc is focused on providing solutions for therapists to efficiently document patient care to improve reimbursement, increase profitability, and, most importantly, enhance patient care and satisfaction. All of the company’s solutions maintain current industry standards with Microsoft and HL-7 and are interoperable with multiple office systems.
Seth Hobgood joined ReDoc in 2010, and serves as Chief Technology Officer. He primarily focuses on growing ReDoc's technology initiatives, overseeing the hosted and internal infrastructure, partner and customer integration deployment and development, internal IT needs, as well providing technical advisement. When Seth first joined the ReDoc Team, he was an Integration Specialist, later promoted to Director of Integration in the same year, and 2012 he took on the charge and responsibility of Vice President of Integration Services, where he oversaw interoperability offerings of ReDoc's products and ensured customers experienced a dynamic reliable interface that met their needs as the healthcare IT landscape evolved. Prior to joining ReDoc, Seth served as an HL7 Interface Developer for Outpatient Imaging Affiliates (OIA), managing the configuration and development of HL7 interfaces to the outpatient radiology sites managed by OIA. He also designed and developed a web-based incident portal to help with trending for patient incidents at those facilities to manage accident liability. Additionally, he assisted with management of critical applications such as the PACS, practice management, and coding software suites. Previously, Seth served as a manager for support and installation with Medifax (later was acquired by Emdeon) of a flagship EDI eligibility product, Medifax Assistant. During this time, Seth worked closely with some of the most prominent HIS vendors in the market including Meditech, McKesson, and Cerner, to develop a deep knowledge of workflows associated with these systems and the interoperability opportunities they present. Seth earned an A.A. in Computer Information Systems from Volunteer State Community College in Gallatin, Tennessee.
