About the Person

Spanning more than two decades of software development and systems integration experience, Sa’ad`s role as Chief Technology Officer extends a myriad of responsibilities at Mindgrub.  Sa’ad provides technical oversight over the Mindgrub solutions, offering technical leadership and mentorship to the software development teams.  In addition, Sa’ad provides project management leadership to the Mindgrub Project Management team. Prior to joining Mindgrub, Sa’ad was the Vice President of Software Engineering for a SaaS company that provided a web-based Employee Benefits Enrollment solution to mid-size and large companies. He has successfully implemented software solutions for numerous corporations including several Fortune 500 companies such as John Deere, Merck and Verizon. Sa’ad background included several years as a consultant with RWD Technologies, Keane and Computer Task Group where he worked on several solutions for large companies such as IBM and Bethlehem Steel. Sa`ad has architected, designed and developed numerous systems within the areas of Customer Relationship Management, Heavy Equipment Manufacturing, Human Resources Information Systems, consumer e-commerce, and business-to-business e-commerce solutions. Sa’ad experience also includes several years as an Adjunct Faculty Professor at universities within the metropolitan Washington and Baltimore areas.  More recently, he was teaching courses at the University of Maryland – Baltimore County, where he has instructed courses in Object Oriented Design using C++ and Java, and courses in Software Engineering Design and Processes. Sa’ad is a previous member of the University of Maryland Baltimore County Computer Science and Electrical Engineering Department Visiting Committee, a group of prominent industry and federal agency professionals who meet regularly to advise the Department on its programs and development. Sa’ad is an enthusiastic and passionate cyclist spending his free time cycling in the hills of Maryland and participating in cycling events to raise funds for cancer research.
