The Seattle Mariners are a professional baseball team founded in 1977. The Mariners have three focuses for the present and future: • A commitment to winning, • A commitment to our fans, • A commitment to the Northwest community. The top priority for the entire Seattle Mariners organization is to bring multiple World Series Championships to Seattle. Being competitive or simply having a winning record is not good enough. Our long-range strategy is in place and is already beginning to show results. At the same time, the Mariners strive to provide an entertaining product that can be enjoyed by Mariners fans wherever they are in the world.
