About the Person
Roy Singh has a proven track record in data science, distributed systems, natural language processing, machine learning and quantitative finance. Prior to joining AltX, Roy served as the CTO of Guavus, Inc., a leading global telecoms data analytics platform and solutions provider. He spent 20 years prior to that in leadership roles at other prominent enterprise technology and data analytics companies, including working for Microsoft’s Enterprise Architecture team and delivering natural language processing solutions for government counterterrorism organizations, and recommender systems for on-line retailers. Roy also has extensive experience working in the financial technology industry, preceded by eight years at The Boston Consulting Group. Roy holds an MBA from INSEAD and a degree in Mathematics from Oxford University.
