About the Person

Roger Berry joined Starwood as Senior Vice President & Chief Information Officer in 2012. He is charged with driving technology strategy and positioning to keep pace with the company's rapid global growth and advanced branding needs. Previously, Mr. Berry was Senior Vice President & Chief Information Officer for Walt Disney Parks & Resorts. He led the Information Technology division from 2000 to 2010 with responsibility for creative technology initiatives across five Disney Resorts, the Disney Cruise Line, Disney Vacation Club, and the Adventures by Disney travel business. During his tenure, Mr. Berry shaped and implemented Michael Eisner's “digital decade” strategy, restoring brand relevance, boosting attendance, increasing the bottom line, and driving efficiencies. He was named to ComputerWorld’s list of top Chief Information Officers in 2002 and recognized as “The Strategist.” Prior to 2000, Mr. Berry served as Vice President & Chief Information Officer of Campbell Soup family of companies. In this role, he directed all information services activities globally for the corporation as well as Swanson Frozen Food, Pepperidge Farm, Campbell’s Food Service, Godiva, and Arnott's Biscuits. Mr. Berry is a Board member for University of Houston's Tier One Advisory Board, Hewlett Packard's Technology Advisory Council, and University of Florida's Technology Advisory Board. He graduated from University of Houston with a BS in Mathematics.
