About the Person

Roger Batsel joins The Federal Home Loan Bank of Cincinnati as senior vice president-chief information officer. Responsible for planning and implementing the technology strategy for the FHLBank, Batsel oversees the day-to-day duties of the Information Security and Compliance, Technical Support, and Systems and Programming Departments. His previous experience in financial services includes employment with MidCountry Financial Corp., Macon, Georgia, where he served as senior vice president-chief information officer, and with Republic Bank in Louisville, where he was senior vice president-managing director of information systems. He earned a bachelor's degree from the University of North Carolina at Asheville as well as an MBA from Bellarmine University.
