Cleveland, OH-based Cleveland Public Library has Appointed Rod Houpe as Chief Technology Officer

 

About the Company

About the Person

Rod Houpe is a 25-year information technology veteran. Mr. Houpe has experience in both the public and private sectors.

On the public side, the library said, Mr. Houpe previously served as chief information officer for the Ohio Department of Commerce, as well as technology adviser/director for three Ohio governors. He also served as CIO for Columbus City Schools.

Most recently, Mr. Houpe worked for the Lower Colorado River Authority in Austin, Texas. He recently moved back to Ohio to pursue consulting projects before accepting the chief technology officer position at the library, according to a news release by the library.
