About the Person

Robert Logan is the Chief Information Officer for Leidos (NYSE:LDOS), one of two companies resulting from the separation of SAIC in August 2013. Prior to separation, as CIO for SAIC and the IT functional lead for Project Gemini, Logan led SAIC’s effort to clone corporate and line IT infrastructure, systems, applications, and data to support the creation of two independent and publicly traded companies. As the Leidos CIO he is focused on aligning IT capabilities to support the new company’s core businesses of National Security, Health and Engineering Solutions. Joining SAIC’s Information Technology Services team in November 2004, Logan held leadership roles in engineering and service management. In 2007 he was recognized as a Computerworld’s Premier 100 IT Leader for modernizing enterprise networks and data centers. Prior to joining SAIC, Logan was a career Marine Corps officer with extensive experience in operational communications, systems engineering, and program management. He holds a B.S. degree in electrical engineering from Washington State University, and a M.S. degree in electrical engineering and the post-master degree, Electrical Engineer, from the Naval Postgraduate School.
