Purchase, NY-based Pepsico appointed Robert Dixon as Chief Information Officer.

About the Person

Robert L. Dixon, Jr., served as the Chief Information Officer and Senior Vice President at Pepsico, Inc. since 2007 until April 2016 and served as its Global Chief Information Officer of PBSG and Senior Vice President of PBSG. Mr. Dixon has decades of experience. He has a proven track record as a Leader, having served on the executive staff of two major international corporations. Prior to PepsiCo, he served various positions with The Procter & Gamble Company (consumer products) in manufacturing, brand management and information technology since 1977, including Vice President of Global Services from 2005 to 2007. Mr. Dixon has been an Independent Director of Anthem, Inc. (formerly WellPoint Inc.) since July 1, 2011. He serves on an Advisory Board for International Business Machines Corp. He served on the President’s Advisory Board of the Georgia Institute of Technology from 2003 to 2009. Mr. Dixon was inducted into The Georgia Institute of Technology`s Academy of Distinguished Engineering Alumni in 2002. He is a graduate of The Georgia Institute of Technology.
