Bob Casale is Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer for Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company (MassMutual). Bob has accountability for the oversight of information technology at MassMutual and its worldwide subsidiaries, equipping employees with the technology and tools they need to support policyholders and help achieve MassMutual’s business objectives. He is also directly accountable for enterprise-wide technology operations, solutions delivery for the U.S. Insurance Group and corporate units, data management, information and cyber security, enterprise continuity planning, overall IT governance and the research and development of emerging technology solutions. Over his career, Bob has worked across multiple businesses and industries. His broad experience and extensive understanding of technology, business operations and infrastructure, enabled him to drive the direction and implementation of the company’s “modernization vision”. This effort has enabled MassMutual to excel in the marketplace and positioned the company for continued growth. Most recently, Bob led the IT Effectiveness Transformation (ITE), a holistic initiative aimed at enabling tighter business alignment. As a result, MassMutual’s IT organization has transformed from a traditional technology provider to a strategic business partner that produces significant business value for MassMutual and its customers. Bob has an undergraduate degree in Computer Sciences and has earned his MBA from Boston University.
