The New England Aquarium is the only Boston-based cultural institution with a mission focused primarily on the environment, combining education, entertainment and action to address the ocean`s most challenging problems. More than 1.3 million visitors explore our diverse exhibits on Central Wharf on Boston’s waterfront each year. Around the world, we are taking on the toughest problems facing the oceans, including climate change education and research, ocean health research, endangered species and habitat studies and sustainable fisheries issues. The Industry Training Authority (ITA) leads and coordinates British Columbia`s skilled trades system.
