Pelham, NY-based Standardware Promoted Rick Jones as Chief Technology Officer
Established in 1981, Standardware is an industry leader in the development of productivity software for the IBM mainframe environment, with special emphasis on IMS, DL/I, DBCTL and CICS. Standardware’s streamlined business model allows for immediate access and rapid response. Our usage-based software licensing allows customers the flexibility to scale their needs virtually rather than invest in physical hardware.
Prior to joining Standardware, Rick Jones founded Progressive Software, where he developed the Pro-Screen product, and then sold the company to Computer Associates; and SofTouch Systems, where he developed nine different CICS and VTAM products. Jones has continued his work in product development and innovation since joining Standardware, and has made numerous product enhancements to Standardware’s COPE product for IMS database visualization in the IBM System zTM environment.
