About the Person

Rick Hopfer is the Chief Information Officer at Molina Healthcare, Inc. As CIO, Rick manages and leads the information technology department to align enterprise objectives, programs, and strategies. Rick has extensive experience leading large, complex IT operations in a variety of industries. Most recently, Rick worked for Sony Pictures Entertainment, where he served as CIO for four years and as Senior Vice President of Information Technology prior to that. Before Sony, he served as CIO for Homestore.com and then as chief technology officer (CTO) for Homestore International. Rick also has held senior IT leadership positions at Simon and Schuster, Bankers Trust Company, and Aetna Life and Casualty, among others. Rick holds a bachelor's degree in computer information systems from Arizona State University.
