Allegiance Health is a community-owned and locally-governed health system. We are proudly entering our 10th decade of serving the people of south central Michigan with local, high-quality health care. We staff our facilities with exceptional, caring professionals who are dedicated to the health and well-being of the communities we serve. Comprised of more than 40 different facilities, our system reaches residents of Jackson, Hillsdale, Lenawee, Ingham, Calhoun and Washtenaw counties and beyond.
Richard Warren, Vice President, Health Information Services & Chief Information Officer (CIO), joined Allegiance Health in 1985 as Hospital Information Systems Director. He became vice president and CIO in 1988. Warren co-founded Jackson Community Medical Record in 2005 and serves as vice president of its Board of Directors. He is the Secretary/Treasurer for Allegiance Hospice Board and serves on the Board of Directors of the Michigan Health Information Network Shared Services, and Junior Achievement of the Michigan Edge. Professional memberships include the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives; Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society; and InSight: The Association for Education in Healthcare Information Technology.
