As such, he oversees enterprise-wide IT strategy development; directs the definition, development, implementation and maintenance of corporate and shared services application systems; creates the company’s annual technology plan and budget; and oversees ongoing projects and strategic vendor alliances. Prior to joining Avery Dennison, Mr. Hoffman served as president and chief executive officer of Hyundai Information Services North America (HISNA), a stand-alone shared services company owned by Hyundai Motor America and Kia Motor America. Prior to HISNA, Mr. Hoffman worked at Dole Food Company, Cummins, Inc.; Yamaha Motor Corporation; Digital Equipment Corporation and Embassy Communications.
