New York, NY-based KPMG has Retired Richard K Anderson as Chief Information Officer

Mr. Richard K. Anderson, Dick served as the Chief Information Officer of KPMG LLP from January 2009 to December 17, 2012. Mr. Anderson served as Vice President, Strategy and Applied Research of AT&T Corp. since 1995. He was responsible for overall coordination and IT service delivery throughout the U.S. firm. During his tenure at AT&T, he also served as a vice president of AT&T Labs; Chief Information Officer of AT&T Solutions, a $6B consulting and outsourcing business; and the managing partner of AT&T's IT Consulting and Systems Integration Services practice. Prior to joining AT&T Corp., he served as Chief Technology Officer of Kwasha Lipton, an employee benefits consulting firm, where he was responsible for strategic planning, administration, systems and finance. Mr. Anderson was a Principal with McKinsey & Company, in New York where he led their worldwide practice in Information Management and Technology. Before that, he was a Partner with Andersen Consulting in Washington, D.C. Mr. Anderson has been a Director of AT&T Latin America Corp., since March 2003. Mr. Anderson holds a B.A. degree in economics and psychology from the University of Miami, and an M.S. degree in electrical engineering and computer science from the University of Connecticut.
