Methodist Hospital is a 217 bed acute care hospital in Henderson, Kentucky. Methodist Hospital also has a campus in Morganfield, Kentucky. Methodist Hospital provides general medical and surgical care for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency room patients, and participates in the Medicare and Medicaid programs. Emergency room services are available on a 24-hour per day, seven-day per week basis. Methodist Hospital, in keeping with its Christian heritage, exists to provide a broad-based healthcare delivery system. Randy McCleese has more than 28 years of information systems management experience with nineteen years in healthcare. He currently serves as Vice President of Information Services and Chief Information Officer at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead, Kentucky. Randy earned an MBA degree from East Tennessee State University and MS in Information Systems, BS in geology and BBA in computer information systems degrees from Morehead State University. Randy has been actively involved in the Healthcare Information Management Systems Society (HIMSS) and the College for Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME) for many years. He has served in numerous capacities in both organizations including President of the local HIMSS chapter and as 2014 of the international CHIME organization. Randy has received awards from both organizations including the HIMSS Founders Leadership Award and the inaugural CHIME State Advocacy Award. He is a Fellow in both organizations. Randy has been instrumental in the efforts to establish the Northeastern Kentucky Regional Health Information Organization (NEKY RHIO) and served as Chair of its Board of Directors in 2011 and 2012. Randy is a member of the Kentucky Health Information Exchange Coordinating Council. Randy also serves on the Board of Directors for the Morehead Community Federal Credit Union.
