About the Person

Prior to joining SUPERVALU, Burdick spent the last eight years at OfficeMax serving as the executive vice president and chief information officer.  While at OfficeMax, he implemented supply chain improvements that created a single supply and demand planning process for B2B & B2C businesses. He also enhanced capabilities beyond cross-channel optimization including yard management, cross docking, voice pick, real-time delivery confirmation, truckload optimization as well as route optimization. His previous experience also includes serving as group information officer for Hewlett-Packard, chief information officer at Advanced Micro Devices (AMD), and he began his career as an automation engineer at Harris Semiconductor. Burdick earned a Bachelor of Science degree in computer engineering and a Master of Science degree in computer science from the University of South Florida.
