About the Person

Rand Strobel was named regional chief information officer for Catholic Health Initiatives Region Five on January 21, 2014. Region Five includes the Franciscan Health System. Mr. Strobel has more than 25 years of experience in health care and information technology, most recently serving as the Vice President and Chief Information Officer at the University of Washington Medicine Valley Medical Center. He has also served in senior management positions with PeaceHealth in Bellevue, Washington. Rand Strobel is a member of the College of Health Care Information Management Executives. He’s also a member of the CIO Council of PACLAB, a regional medical laboratory consortium. Mr. Strobel received his Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from Union College in Lincoln, Nebraska. He earned his Masters of Business Administration from Webster University in St. Louis, Missouri.
