About the Person
As CIO, Singh oversees a department of professionals and more than 50 technology providers and vendors, and is responsible for technology compliance, infrastructure management, data security and technical innovation at FordDirect. With more than 20 years of experience, Raj Singh has a deep history of identifying, designing and implementing business processes that increase efficiencies while fulfilling corporate and regulatory requirements. At FordDirect, Singh is focused on developing information technology strategies to guide the company through its next stage of business growth. As an executive team member, Singh reports to Coopes. Prior to joining FordDirect, Singh was most recently the executive director of IT at Consumers Energy, where he led a portfolio of more than 200 applications and over 400 global technology resources including vendor partner resources. Singh was also responsible for building a flexible, nimble delivery model, including all aspects of information technology related to business intelligence and IT transformation. Singh holds a bachelor's degree in computer science and a Master in Business Administration from Michigan State University and a Master of Program Management from George Washington University. He is also Project Management Professional-certified (PMP), SAP COE-certified, and a Six Sigma Green Belt.
