About the Person
At Encryptics, MR. Holt serves as the Chief Information Officer (CIO) as well as the Chair of the Technology Counsel. As CIO, MR. Holt manages of all systems, technology, and infrastructure for the company. As Chair of the Technology Council, MR. Holt facilitates strategic alliances between Encryptics and industry leaders.
With an extensive background in managing infrastructure for both public and private organizations, MR. Holt brings tremendous knowledge of Information Systems to his role at Encryptics. Prior to joining Encryptics, MR. Holt served as CIO at government service organizations including Gila, LLC and Municipal Services Bureau (MSB). MR. Holt also held an impressive tenure in state government, serving as Deputy CIO for the State of Texas, Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for the State of Texas, and Deputy Executive Director of the Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR), which is the technology agency for the State.
Prior to his public service, MR. Holt was part of the executive team that registered one of the top IPOs in history when they took FreeMarkets public. He also served on the Global Management Consulting team at Ernst & Young LLP, where he managed multi-national implementations of technology solutions for large clients. MR. Holt received a BA, MBA, and a Master’s in MIS from the University of Pittsburgh.
