About the Person

Philippe Meyer has been Chief Technology Officer and Vice President of Aleris Corporation and Aleris International, Inc. since August 2012. Mr. Meyer has 30 years of experience in the aluminum industry, as Technical Director for Montupet. Prior to that, he held management positions in research and technology with Pechiney, where he helped develop an aluminum lithium alloy for aerospace applications and precision aluminum-forging technology for Automotive products. He has a master`s degree from Ecole Nationale Superieuro des Mines in Paris, France.
