Over 700,000 container orders are initiated on the INTTRA platform each week, representing 24 percent of global ocean container trade.
About the Person
Peter M. Ludvigsen served as the Head of Product Development and Chief Information Officer at INTTRA, Inc. since March 3, 2015. Mr. Ludvigsen serves as the Chief Information Officer of United Arab Shipping Company (UASC) one of the largest ocean carriers of dry cargo to the Middle East. At UASC, Mr. Ludvigsen and his team have worked to successfully deploy a single instance of a comprehensive Shipping ERP solution that supports all business processes from strategic planning to finance processes at Head office, Regions, branch offices and third party agencies. Prior to joining UASC, Mr. Ludvigsen worked 33 years in the shipping and ports industry in various management roles including the role as Chief Information Officer for Maersk Line Europe Region and head of Capacity Management for Maersk Line in Far East Region. Mr. Ludvigsen served as Director of INTTRA, Inc. He served as a Board Observer of INTTRA, Inc. Mr. Ludvigsen graduated from Maersk Line Shipping School in 1979 and has attended various management courses throughout his career including an Executive Management Course at Penn State University.
