Vancouver, BC-based Deep-South Resources Appointed Paul Smith as Chief Operating Officer

 

About the Company

Deep-South Resources Inc. is a mineral exploration company largely held by Namibian shareholders and Management with 25% and Teck Resources Ltd with 28% of Deep-South share capital. Deep-South currently holds 100% of the Haib Copper project in Namibia, one of the largest copper porphyry deposits in Africa. The deposit host an indicated and inferred resources totaling 5.2 billion lbs of copper. Recent metallurgical test work have resulted in copper recoveries between 90% Cu and 96% Cu. Deep-South and Midas Engineering (METS) of Australia is currently completing an updated Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA). The Company also plan further development which will start with infilled drilling in the higher grade area of the deposit.
