Berkeley Process Control, Inc. is located at the northern end of San Francisco Bay, in Richmond, CA. Berkeley is a healthy, privately held, company founded in 1981 by our current company president, Paul Sagues. We design, manufacture and market motion and machine controllers, and related hardware and software products, for applications that include semiconductor manufacturing, aviation security, automated welding, packaging and converting, optical fiber manufacturing, and general automation. We offer employees excellent career advancement and personal growth opportunities. We are located in the beautiful Hilltop area of Richmond. Now known as a high-tech corridor in the north bay, one of the greatest benefits of working in Richmond is the easy commute. It takes less than one hour to get to our office from Fremont, San Mateo, San Francisco, Walnut Creek, Sonoma County and Marin. Berkeley's work environment is often described as similar to that of a university campus. Our atmosphere is supportive, open and friendly which facilitates easy access to peers and managers. Dress code is business casual. Work hours are usually flexible and there is always plenty of Peet's coffee and teas in the kitchen. We sponsor activities to help build and maintain our team-oriented atmosphere.
