About the Person

Paul Dalpiaz joined Crain Communications Inc in January 2007 as chief information officer. In this role, he is responsible for developing and deploying the company's overall IT and e-business strategic direction. Prior to joining Crain Communications, Mr. Dalpiaz served as IT director and vice president at GTN Inc., a broadcast media service company providing IT services and solutions to commercial accounts, advertising agencies and Fortune 500 companies. Before that, he served as North American CIO and then as world-wide IT director/senior partner at global communications powerhouse JWT (formerly J Walter Thompson). Prior to that, Mr. Dalpiaz was business systems IT director at Thomson Gale (formerly Gale Research Inc.), a business unit of The Thomson Corporation, a publisher of academic, educational and business research references and served as IT director at C.A. Muer Corporation, a national restaurant company. With over two decades of progressive leadership experience, Mr. Dalpiaz has directly influenced publications and ad agency business units by formulating, developing and implementing IT strategies and new e-business services, and re-engineering IT infrastructures in order to meet the rapidly changing technology and information environment. Mr. Dalpiaz is a 1989 graduate of Eastern Michigan University where he earned a bachelor's degree in operational research and information systems.
